Gokul Bhusal

I am a sixth-year PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at Michigan State University, working under the guidance of Professor Ekaterina Merkurjev.

I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2020 with a BS in Mathematics and a Minor in Computer Science.

My research interests include graph-based methods, active learning, optimization algorithms, and hyperspectral image analysis.

I am graduating in Spring 2026 and am seeking a postdoctoral position.
