Gokul Bhusal

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA (since Fall 2026), where I work with Prof. Andrea L. Bertozzi.

I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Michigan State University in 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Ekaterina Merkurjev.

My research focuses on graph-based machine learning, active learning, optimization algorithms, and hyperspectral image analysis, with interests in developing scalable methods for scientific and imaging applications.
